Coffee Yoghurt Recipe

This is really a variation on a "lassi", the refreshing yoghurt drink of Indian restaurants. It can be made as either a sweet drink (traditionally with sugar and ground cinnamon) or salty (using salt and a little cumin).

Ingredients : Serves 2

350 ml Cold black coffee

350 ml Natural (plain) yoghurt

20 ml Sugar

A pinch of ground cinnamon, to taste

Method :

Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Mix until creamy. Serve sprinkled with cinnamon.


Variation : For a salty version, use 1/2 teaspoon salt and a pinch of ground cumin, instead of the cinnamon, possibly with some sugar to taste, if desired.
